The Jiba and the Kanrodai
The place where human beings were first conceived is called the "Jiba." It is the birthplace for all humanity. The area centered around the Jiba is referred to as the "Home of the Parent."
The divine name Tenri-O-no-Mikoto was given to the Jiba, where God the Parent resides. Conducted around the Jiba is the Kagura Service, in which we pray for the reconstruction of the world into the Joyous Life World.
The Kanrodai (the Stand for the Heavenly Dew) is placed at the Jiba of Origin as proof that it is the place where humankind was first conceived. The Kanrodai is shaped so as to represent the truth of human creation and growth. It serves as the focal point for worship.
God teaches us that the heavenly dew (also called the gift from heaven) will be bestowed on this stand when our minds are all purified and the Joyous Service is performed exactly as intended by God the Parent. Whoever partakes of the heavenly dew will live one hundred fifteen years without illness, death, or weakening, and the world will be reconstructed into the world of the
Joyous Life.
